Micki began her educational journey over 40 years ago as a classroom teacher, using experiential learning and PbL to connect students with their community. She brings expertise in curriculum development, systemic coaching, facilitation, and higher-education teaching. Micki has supported schools through redesign processes, building sustainable professional learning communities both nationally and internationally. She believes the power of place shapes students’ values, identity, and sense of purpose—empowering them to improve their communities and the world.

For 26 years, Erin has taught high school and continuing-education courses while writing curriculum and producing videos. She champions PbL as a pathway to equitable, student-driven learning. Erin has expertise in both teacher-led and self-directed PBL environments and supports districts in developing unique PbL journeys.

Erin has served as a national coach for EdVisions schools, provided curriculum planning through the Small Schools Project, and recently worked with Chief Leschi Schools for the Puyallup Tribe. She’s been a Buck Institute National Faculty member for twelve years.
